Verjaarsdagkonsert vir Mimi

Die wêreldbekende operasangeres Mimi Coertse en gevierde operaregisseur en kostuumontwerper Neels Hansen het die Black Tie Ensemble saam in die lewe geroep om jong Suid-Afrikaanse sangers geleentheid te bied om hul talente ten toon te stel. Dit het ’n belangrike rol gespeel om hul talente te ontwikkel en te slyp.

Dit is om hierdie rede dat ons eie lewende legende geëer moet word deur haar 90ste verjaarsdag te vier.

’n Gepaste konsert word vir dié ster gehou en Loveline Arts Foundation is geëerd om dié luisterryke geleentheid aan te bied. Die alumni van die Black Tie Ensemble, insluitend Linda Zitha, Veramarie Meyer, Loveline Madumo en Bongiwe Madlala gaan die gehoor betower.

Die program is vir die hele gesin toeganklik en sluit “Heimwee”, “O boereplaas”, die bekende Rigoletto-kwartet, “Vilja”, “O mio babbino caro” en “Nessun dorma” in.

The world-renowned opera singer Mimi Coertse and celebrated opera director and costume designer Neels Hansen co-founded Black Tie Ensemble to enable young South African singers to display their talents. This played a major role in honing and nurturing their talents.

It is for this reason that our own living legend deserves the honour of being celebrated as she turns 90 years.

A befitting concert will be held in celebration of this star and Loveline Arts Foundation is honoured to host this prestigious event. The alumni of the Black Tie Ensemble, including Linda Zitha, Veramarie Meyer, Loveline Madumo and Bongiwe Madlala, will enthral the audience.
